  4.    i am a newbie to Winsock and will
  5. like to know where i can get FAQs(through 
  6. ftp or mail) on this subject. I am also 
  7. interest in its performance for Windows 3.1
  8. programming with TCP/IP network.

  63. Do all Winsocks require 386 enhanced mode? Mine (Chameleon) does. I am thinking 
  64. about buying a subnotebook that has a 386 processor but only runs Windows 3.1 
  65. in standard mode. I will need some other way to access my slip account from 
  66. that system and I am not exactly sure where to turn. Any suggestions, ideas, 
  67. etc. would be welcome. Thanks.
